A straightening machine for CASTEX rims has been designed for professional removal of bends and rim damage that creates a problem during balancing. Damaged parts are defined as using a sensor, and the correction is done using an actuator with an appropriate overlay. The device is designed for repairs of steel and aluminum rims with diameters from 10 to 24 inches. The rim is repaired using a hydraulic cylinder equipped with a hydraulic cylinder appropriately selected shaped overlays that allow repair of the damaged rim at any point of its curvature. The device has a mounting disk with holes, which is used a properly selected centering ring ensures secure fixing of the repaired the rim regardless of the number of holes in the rim. This device is also perfect at work with blind rims, i.e. without a central hole. Strong and massive construction gives a sense of safety and comfort of work even in case of severe repairs.
